Position Summary

A Ward Boy is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of hospital wards, assisting patients with their needs, and supporting the medical staff to ensure efficient healthcare delivery. This role involves a range of duties aimed at promoting a safe, comfortable, and hygienic environment for patients.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of hospital wards, including patient rooms, common areas, and restrooms.

- Assist patients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.

- Transport patients to various departments within the hospital as required.

- Deliver meals and assist patients with feeding if necessary.

- Ensure the availability of clean linens and manage soiled linens appropriately.

- Support nursing staff with basic patient care tasks and procedures.

- Monitor and report any changes in patients' conditions to the nursing staff.

- Restock medical supplies and equipment in the wards.

- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control procedures.

- Provide compassionate and respectful assistance to patients and their families.
